2022.01.19 05:04 FeatureAlternative1 $40 Free Bitcoin for $100+ deposit (BlockFi)

$40 Free Bitcoin for $100+ deposit (BlockFi) BlockFi is a great banking alternative which pays you interest for saving your crypto with them. Particularly, their 9% APY for stablecoins is just wonderful. If you sign up using my referral link and meet their deposit requirement, you get a $40 bonus in bitcoin. That is their normal bonus amount $10 plus $30 extra specially added if the person referring is a current BlockFi Rewards Visa Card holder, which I am. (Please see images below)
To get the $40 BTC bonus,
  1. Sign up using my referral link found on this page.
  2. Make sure referral code 1f7f2ee0 is entered when signing up for BlockFi.
  3. Go through verification steps.
  4. You need to transfer $100 or more in crypto or fiat to your account. This can be done by sending crypto from your wallet or exchange, or depositing fiat through bank ACH. Fiat deposit is valid for the bonus since your fiat gets converted to a stablecoin (I've checked this point with support) I recommend depositing $105 of crypto or fiat to account for market fluctuations.
  5. Bonus payout occurs every second Friday of each month. So just leave your fund and wait.
If you're not sure if your referral code is entered correctly, you can check on your "Referral" page in the line that says "Referral Code Used". If the code is missing, contact support via chat and ask them to add it manually.
I have noted some more helpful information about this offer on this page. For proof of my BlockFi Visa Card ownership, please see this video. Please feel free to DM me if you have any questions.
Thank you for using my referral, in advance!

2022.01.19 05:04 eva_belly Do you think Sumit & Jenny should try Surrogacy like Anna & Mursel did?

Sumit's mom would definitely want a grandchild. She already hated Jenny but this could add up to the hatred. I don't know if his parents would agree to surrogacy but that's their only option, right?

2022.01.19 05:04 SplashBack_2 Content Streaming on Windows is a Nightmare

As far as I understand, it is near impossible to stream content from Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+ in 4K on windows. Regardless of the resolution, all streamed content just looks awful, full of artifacts and bad colour representation. It's so frustrating, as my PC hardware, monitor, and internet should be more than capable of streaming in high quality, but there are dumb limitations put in place for a variety of reasons.
So, using my current hardware, is there any way I could stream in 4K with good quality? Is there an operating system I could install on a spare drive, like some android TV skin, or something like that? It would be a pain, but I guess I could also purchase a Chromecast Ultra or Firestick 4K to plug in to my spare HDMI port, but then audio becomes an issue. I use headphones with a 3.5mm jack connection, and the only drawback of my monitor is that it doesn't have a headphone jack. I would need to get a HDMI audio extractor as well, which may end up just producing low quality audio anyway.
Any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

2022.01.19 05:04 Evil-economist People who are upgrading to Fenix 7 from Fenix 6; what the one key feature that makes you want to upgrade?

I'm curious. Do you just enjoy having the latest tech? Or is there one key feature that you can't live without.
For me, Fenix is mostly a hiking watch. So the much improved map functionality may be enough for me to upgrade. But still debating if it's worth the extra cost :)

2022.01.19 05:04 Rikun85 When is homemade stock worth the time and effort?

So I decided to get into the practice of saving and freezing leftover bones and veg peelings to save for stock, and both times I feel like I’ve been successful in squeezing the most from what we’d normally throw away. However, I’m currently living with my old fashioned aunt who fully believes that the 3 hours I spent making the stock was a waste of time especially since you can get soup in a can or use bouillon cubes. She also thinks that using leftover scrap is impractical when buying fresh veggies will make the stock taste better.
Personally I’m a bit incensed, but it did make me think about when and how long would be practical for a home cook to make stock. I obviously don’t have 8-24 hours to make bone broth, but I figured a one hour veggie broth or a 3 hour chicken stock would be worth the trouble?
I want to hear from you guys who do cook with broth or stock. When would homemade be worth it? When is it more practical to bust out the can or carton? I’d like to know, especially for the home kitchen.

2022.01.19 05:04 GameChangingMadness What do you look for in a dungeon?

As the title says, what do you look for when running through dungeons? Both base game, and ones from mods.
I am planning to make a mod that adds a dungeon that is quite long and complex. I'm hoping it will take the best part of an hour, maybe longer to clear.
So, I'm looking for suggestions on what entices people into exploring dungeons?
Is it the loot? Fighting powerful enemies? Collecting lots of loot?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

2022.01.19 05:04 -Balex- Add a passive mode to SoT and just make it so you only get 70% of usual income

title says all im thinking honestly, this is going to get downvoted, and i know that, its dumb, but it will, i play SoT to unwind, to have fun, kill some skeletons, do some treasure maps, just, have fun getting ran down by a brig as a solo sloop because i was on an island for 30 seconds ruins this game for me, there should be an ability to do that, and i shouldn't get gatekeepered with "git gud" in a game that can be so relaxing, the reason i came up with the 70% figure, is that for the most part, i get to sail the seas uninhibited, but there is that 1/3 or 1/4 times im out sailing, or more often, i've parked to find some treasure, and i will come back to a brig, or even a galleon pulled up next to my ship firing all cannons on me that took me 2 hours to get all for the 2,000 gold they might get from me
even if it was 50% of usual income, i'll take it, i just, i dont see why this has to be so hard to understand that not everyone wants to be sweating and 360 no scoping on the crows nest searching for other ships when i just wanna have a relaxing time sailing the seas and doing some puzzles
